There will be no change to traffic pattern for the next two weeks. The next change will happen when we open all  lanes to traffic on Sep 26th. We will be  resurfacing at the end of next week or the beginning of the week after. Again during that time, we will maintain the same number of lanes open to traffic but they may change from left to right lanes or the other way around during the day time.

There will be a slight change to traffic pattern toward the end of the coming week. We will be milling and resurfacing during that time. We will maintain the same number of lanes open to traffic but they may change from left to right lanes or the other way around and this is  only during the working hours and everything will stay the same in the evening. This will last only few days and then will go back to current traffic pattern.

Monday, August 11, 2014

As you noticed, we have a new traffic pattern in effect since last Friday, Aug 1st, 2014 and this will continue for a few weeks. All contractors will mostly be working 7 AM to 3:30 PM and all the construction activities will be contained within the closures area. During the next two weeks the roadway contractor will be working on removing existing sidewalk, curb and gutter, and pavement. Also they will be installing new drainage structures. The electrical contractor will continue to install proposed traffic signals. We are not expecting any night work in the next two weeks.

Starting Friday, Aug 1st, between 10 AM and noon, a new traffic pattern was created to start the road work for stage II. During this stage, we will maintain two lanes for through traffic, a right turn lane, and one left lane in each direction on Golf Rd. On Waukegan Rd, we will keep one lane for through traffic, a right turn lane, and one left lane in each direction.

During the next two weeks the roadway contractor will be removing and replacing curb and gutter and pavement with the new alignment. The electrical contractor will be placing new  traffic signals at intersections.
